Gallery
The famous Rob Piercy Gallery is hidden away in Snowdon
Street and it is well worth a visit. You can buy a Piercy original
along with other works by famous local artists, or choose
from a large selection of excellent prints.

Coliseum Cinema
At the end of the High Street, opposite Tesco stores, you will
find the Coliseum, the town’s 400-seat community cinema.
It was built in 1931, and retains many of its original features.
This is where “First Knight,” which was filmed on location in
the area, was premiered.
It might be only a little place, but it shows all of the latest
films in an old-fashioned and charming atmosphere.
The cinema is open Monday to Saturday evening every
week.

Glaslyn Leisure Centre
By the main Cambrian Coast Line railway station, Porthmadog
boasts a state-of-the-art leisure centre with a diverse range of

swimming pool, toddlers’ pool, squash courts, golf simulator,
