Ty Newydd, meaning `new house` is a 19th  century detached house which was once used as a court house and old jail. We are  situated on the border of the Snowdonia National Park.

Tremadog is a small  village one mile from Porthmadog, with a post office, supermarket, three  public houses and a restaurant.

Come and be part of the family. We are a small family run B&B with only 3 en-suite rooms all with tea & coffee making facilities and colour TV’s.

You can take the local bus service or your car to the many coastal towns  with sandy beaches or sailing and water sports facilities.

There are also many  fine castles and gardens open to the public as well as a sea zoo, woollen mills, potteries, hydro electric power station, slate caverns and a copper mine. There is something here for everyone.

John & Julie Otty welcome you to Ty Newydd and wish you a very happy holiday.
